Do students have access to technology?
According to the Digital Access Survey, most of the students have access to technology outside of school. Students have access to a wide range of technology within the classroom. There are lap tops, iPads, tablets, computers, SmartBoard, and iPods as well as access to the internet. Having this access will allow students to be successful with using technology in school. All students within the school have access to the technology as well as the internet, therefore the students have all of the materials needed to meet the instructional, learning, and work goals that are provided.

What Is Assistive Technology?
What is Assistive Technology?
According to PBS Parents (2014) "assistive technology is any device that helps a person with a disability completes an everyday task". Within the classroom we have a wide rage of assistive technology tools. Some of the tools include:
SmartBoard Computers Elmo Board Maker Microphone System Mimio Headphones
From the assistive technology survey all of the teachers know what assistive technology is and only some of the teachers are able to use assistive technologies within the classroom.
When deciding on assistive technologies and what should be used the student is not involved in the decision process. However, teachers, special education coordinators, and parents are in the decision making process.
